Pac-Man, stylized as PAC-MAN, is an arcade game developed by Namco and first released in Japan in May 1980. Pacman is one of the most recognizable characters from games around the world. The player controls a circular character which has a pie wedge shaped mouth to eat pellets through a maze, eating Pac-Dots. When all dots are eaten, Pac-Man is taken to the next stage. In this design, computer hacking is presented by the skills of Packman.
