The Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer first came in April and since then it has left the fans guessing about its plot. The movie is due for release in December, 2017 and the fans can’t wait for it. It’s the perfect bonanza for Christmas.
The third Trilogy of the Star Wars series has fans hooked for more. The first installment Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released in 2015 and took the world by storm. It earned excellent reviews from the critics with fans all over the world going gaga over it. Now, the excitement is back with newly release of second part or Episode VII.
The trailer though doesn’t want to give away much and has only given subtle hints and amazing visual treats to the fans. In this post we are going to give you the preview of the movie.
Before that, let’s rewind a bit……
Start Wars – The Force Awakens, 2015
The movie does need to be mentioned after all the Last Jedi picks up where the last movie left off. It was Episode VII in the Star Wars saga and the first installment of new Trilogy. The story takes place after thirty years of events of the Return of the Jedi which saw the fall of Darth Vader and the evil First Order. But after thirty years the First Order is back with a new “Darth Vader” in making -Kylo Ren, the son of Leia Organa and Han Solo. The evil force is resisted by General Leia Organa and the Resistance. There is no sign of last living Jedi, Luke Skywalker. The Resistance is looking for him. Meanwhile a new form of power has risen in the form of Rey, a Force-sensitive scavenger from Jakku. She seems to posses certain power that matches of Kylo Ren, who is being trained by Snorkel. Finn, a storm trooper who defected from the First Order, Poe Dameron, the best pilot in the Resistance and Han Solo are on the mission to find Jedi Luke Skywalker. They also try to destroy the enemy’s superweapon, Starkiller Base, which targets are New Republic and Resistance for destruction. Rey eventually finds Luke Skywalker in some faraway place returning his famous Lightsaber.
Now, Star Wars: the Last Jedi
So far we know Rey is special. She has the power no one can exactly explain what it is. At the end of the last movie, she emerges as one of the key component in defeating Kylo Ren and Snoke. At one point she displays power even higher than Kylo or anything else in the universe.
In the next movie it is expected that last Jedi Luke Skywalker will train Rey and prepare her for the future confrontation with Supreme Leader Snoke. Despite Disney being cautious with its Trailer (trying not to give away too much), there are many things you can deduced from it. The trailer focuses on Rey and Luke Skywalker and her training on Ahch-To. Here she seems to demonstrate power which surprises Luke Skywalker, who remarks that he has seen powers like hers before but it did not scare him enough at that time. A lot of people think he is talking about Kylo Ren. Kylo seems to be falling deep into the dark side of the force as he hesitates only for a moment before blasting his mother’s Resistance ship. The other important characters like Poe and Finn are seen fighting with army of First Order and Stomtroopers. In the end we get a glimpse of the Supreme Leader Snoke torturing Rey while asking Kylo to show “show me my place in all this.”
Ahead of release the anticipation is very high. Loyal fans are eagerly waiting for the release and find out more about this movie. You can aspect to see more of this elusive Supreme Leader Snoke who seems to be in everybody’s mind.
